Music For Oboe And Chamber Organ

This work was written in 1962 for Susi Jeans and Leon Goossens who gave the first performance on 18 May 1962 at Cleveland Lodge, Dorking.

This is one of the first works in which Dickinson used considerable independence between the players – in this oboe and organ, without pedals.

The first BBC Radio 3 broadcast was given by Sarah Francis.
